Canada Skilled Worker Program This program is for skilled workers who want to immigrate to Canada permanently. Successful applicants of the skilled worker immigration programs will receive a Canadian Immigration (Permanent Resident) Visa, allowing the applicant to immigrate to Canada with his/ her family.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) manages skilled worker immigration under the Canada Express Entry system.

Under Express Entry, Federal Skilled Workers program is designed specifically for skilled applicants which uses its own points system according to various factors, such as age, education, work experience, language abilities under one of Canada’s official languages along with other factors. Across 347 eligible occupations, applicants who meet minimum eligibility criteria submit an expression of interest profile to the Express Entry pool. The profiles of candidates in the pool are ranked under a Comprehensive Ranking System. The highest scoring candidates are issued an invitation to apply for permanent residence.
